Industrial stainless steel tank manufacturing is a complex task that requires strict compliance with standards from design through to execution and commissioning. At Duna Steel Tech, we prioritize strict adherence to relevant regulations and standards in every project. Our deep expertise and extensive experience enable us to precisely understand industry requirements, ensuring that each of our tanks meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Our ordering process is streamlined—managing everything from design to final handover in-house, ensuring efficiency and reliability without the need to involve multiple parties.
Excellent design for maximum durability
Quality control during tank certification verifies that the final product adheres to design and manufacturing standards, ensuring its resilience against impacts.
Mechanical impacts
Industrial tanks must resist mechanical forces such as pressure changes, shocks, and vibrations. These forces can result from the movement of the tank’s contents or external mechanical impacts.
Temperature
Tanks must be built to withstand extreme temperature fluctuations, which can weaken the material and compromise the tank’s integrity. These changes may occur due to environmental conditions or temperature variations in the stored contents.
Corrosion
Tanks are often exposed to corrosive substances like chemicals, salt water, or moisture from the environment. Thus proper material selection and surface treatment are essential for corrosion protection.
UV-radiation and weather
UV-radiation, wind-load, rain, and temperature fluctuations can damage the tank’s structure over time, leading to potential contamination of the stored materials.
Chemicals
The tank’s material and coating should be chosen to withstand various chemical exposures, ensuring durability and safety.
Pressure and vacuum
Pressure inside a tank can fluctuate, sometimes creating a vacuum during the filling or emptying process. Therefore, the tank must be designed to handle pressure changes.

Manufacturing of a durable duplex steel tank
What are the main standards for tank manufacturing in Hungary?
With years of design and manufacturing experience, we are well-versed in industry standards. We ensure that every step of the design and production process complies with approval requirements. In Hungary, the primary standards listed below apply, though they may vary depending on the specific industrial application.
MSZ EN 13445 – Unfired pressure vessel
This European standard defines the requirements for the design, manufacturing, and inspection of pressure vessels, aiming to ensure the safety and reliability of pressure equipment.
MSZ EN 14015 – Specification for the design and manufacture of site-built, vertical, cylindrical, flat-bottomed, above-ground, welded, steel tanks for the storage of liquids at ambient temperature and above
This standard applies to above-ground, vertical, cylindrical steel tanks designed to store liquids under pressure. It covers the design, manufacturing, and inspection procedures.
MSZ EN 1090 – Execution of steel structures and aluminium structures
This standard outlines the requirements for the design and manufacturing of steel and aluminum structures, including welding and production inspection.
MSZ EN 10028 – Flat products made of steel for pressure purposes
This standard governs the use of non-alloyed and alloyed steel plates in the production of pressure equipment, detailing material quality requirements and manufacturing specifications.
We undertake the entire process of tank design, manufacture, and certification
Compliance checks are carried out at multiple stages of the design and manufacturing process, with input from expert committees at each step. Our specialists work throughout the production phases, ensuring all requirements are met. This thorough approach streamlines the manufacturing process and simplifies the acquisition of necessary certifications.
Once your order is placed, we deliver the finished product within 8 weeks. From design to certification, we handle the entire project to ensure the tank is tailored to your specific requirements.

Weather-protected manufacturing environment ensures high quality
Design
Upon receiving an order, we either review existing designs or create new ones based on the client’s needs. All of our designs comply fully with regulatory standards, helping to streamline the approval process.
Manufacturing
As a certified facility, we renew our manufacturing permits every three years. Our team is highly qualified in welding pressure equipment, ensuring top-level expertise. Production begins with approved designs, with a strong focus on material selection. With the addition of our newly completed high-ceiling production hall, our capacity has greatly expanded, enabling us to manage larger projects more efficiently.
Certification
Throughout the manufacturing process, we handle all required certification procedures. During structural inspections, we verify geometric dimensions, nozzles, and other physical features to ensure they align with the design specifications.
Once the tank is complete, authorities perform a final inspection, including a pressure test. Based on the results, the tank is assigned a unique identifier and official certification. We always notify our clients of the pressure test date, giving them the option to attend the inspection.
Installation
We deliver the completed tanks either fully assembled or, for larger sizes, in pre-assembled sections. On-site, we handle the installation and connect the necessary piping, integrating the tanks into the existing infrastructure.

Hassle-free tank manufacturing and certification, delivered by Duna Steel Tech
We streamline the industrial tank manufacturing process. If you already have designs, our engineers will review them and recommend any necessary adjustments. If you don’t have a technical plan, we can create one tailored to your specific needs. All we need from you are a few details:
- What material will the tank store?
- Will the tank be used indoors or outdoors?
- What capacity is required?
- What level of pressure must the tank withstand?
For outdoor applications, our pressure tanks can include painting or insulation.
