This project was particularly demanding, requiring high precision and installation of top-quality industrial piping systems that necessitated the use of specialized materials. Chemical industry piping system installation requires specialized expertise
Before commencing the work, it was crucial to clarify the exact type and properties of the material that the new piping system would come into contact with and the environmental conditions it would be exposed to. In this case, for the transport of highly corrosive chlorine, we needed P355 NR1 grade steel, which is cold-tough, has high tensile strength, and pressure resistance, and retains its properties to -70 degrees Celsius. Only few companies can supply this type of material, and those that do often have long delivery times.
We manufactured seamless pipes and custom-made flanges from this material, allowing us to assemble the individual pipes into a system.
Since our establishment in 2014, we have executed metalworking projects across various sectors. Our diverse clientele continuously presents us with new challenges, pushing us to adapt and innovate. In this particular project, we required a new certification for a specialized welding procedure, and our team members needed to obtain an additional welding qualification. We are proud that we promptly secured these certifications, allowing us to complete the work with exceptional professionalism and quality.
On-site surveys improve the accuracy of workshop manufacturing
We structured our workflow to always begin with an on-site assessment. For this chemical industry piping installation, we followed the same approach, using the collected data to create technical drawings. These plans then directed the manufacturing of the required components in our workshop, increasing our efficiency while ensuring precision and cleanliness in our work.
After manufacturing, on-site adjustments and some of the welding work were completed, which were concluded with thorough quality inspections. To meet our client’s safety and quality expectations, we conducted 100% radiographic weld inspections, ensuring the compliance of all welds.
