We carried out a pipeline section replacement for Mezőföldvíz Ltd., including design, fabrication and commissioning.

We provided a full-scope service for Mezőföldvíz Ltd. for the complete replacement of the piping system installed in a recirculation chamber. Our specialists, experienced in the design and execution of complex piping systems, carried out an on-site survey of the sections to be replaced, prepared the design documentation, and, following the customer’s approval, manufactured, installed and commissioned the new pipeline sections.

The customer approached us after the condition of the pipes in the recirculation chamber no longer met the technical requirements and replacement became necessary. This chamber belongs to the clarifier of a wastewater treatment plant and houses 2+1 dry-installed pumps that return the recirculated sludge to the aeration tank.

We manufactured the custom components by modifying T-fittings, and we also installed 2 new gate valves used to isolate the incoming branches during maintenance or repair works.

The on-site work was made more difficult by water infiltration into the chamber, which meant that the pipelines were hard to access after rainfall. As a result, we were only able to carry out the work over several site visits and under favourable weather conditions.

Following the design and manufacturing phase, we also completed the installation and commissioning of the upgraded system.
