Méhecske LP
We manufactured 7 honey tanks for Méhecske LP
We manufactured seven stainless steel honey tanks fitted with heating blankets and special custom connections for Méhecske LP. The customer came to us with completed plans, which we refined together during the on-site survey, drawing on our more than ten years of experience in the manufacturing of food-grade silos.
At the customer’s request, the tanks were manufactured from EN 1.4301 (AISI 304) stainless steel, the material grade commonly used for food-grade tanks. The tanks have a diameter of 955 mm and a height of 2,410 mm. The shell was made from 2.5 mm sheet, the heating blanket from 1.5 mm sheet, while the top and bottom were made from 3 mm thick plate.
The entire surface was pickled and passivated, the weld seams were cleaned on the inside and ground flush, and the special butterfly connectors were then installed.
The task
Design and fabrication of honey tanks compliant with food industry standards, based on the plans provided by the customer.
Special challenge
To ensure connection to the pipeline section, we had to manufacture special butterfly connectors with a T-branch and reducer.
Our solution
We refined the initial plans together during the on-site survey, and after final approval of the plans, we manufactured the 7 honey tanks. Following successful technical handover, the customer arranged transport and commissioning of the tanks independently.
