We built an industrial piping system using seamless steel pipes of certified quality
In October 2022, Dunafin Plc., a manufacturer of specialty paper products and a member of the DELFORT GROUP, commissioned the construction of the LPG gas network project at its plant in Dunaújváros.
This project is one of the company’s energy-saving investments aimed at reducing and replacing natural gas consumption through the use of LPG. It represents a major step in advancing the plant’s sustainability objectives.
The task
We constructed a seamless steel pipe network from certified-quality steel pipes in the DN 15–DN 150 size range over a section of nearly 250 metres, including the installation of the required fittings and instruments, as well as the painting and insulation of certain pipe sections.
Special challenge
A tight one-month deadline.
Our solution
Keeping to the tight deadline, we successfully completed the project as planned by the end of November 2022. Following X-ray weld inspections and pressure testing, the successful completion was also confirmed by MOL, as the external acceptance party.
