Custom outdoor white wine fermentation tanks for Pécsinger Szőlőbirtok
The Pécsinger Szőlőbirtok, designed by the Ybl-awarded architect Dezső Ekler, is situated on Báródomb and surrounded by approximately 50 hectares of vineyards. Located in the Pannonhalma wine region, it offers an ideal setting for growing varieties such as Italian Riesling, Rhine Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc. Their Pannonhalma Rhine Riesling won a silver medal at the 41st national wine competition held in 2022.
Instead of traditional methods, the winery employs steel tank-based reductive techniques combined with barrel aging. This approach results in wines that are fresher, crisper, and more vibrant.
The task
We manufactured two 250-hectoliter outdoor white wine fermentation tanks, complete with cooling jackets.
Special challenge
The tanks were to be installed outdoors, requiring impeccable installation quality, visually appealing design, and efficient thermal management.
Our solution
We constructed the tanks at our facility using premium-quality materials and the specific fittings requested by the client. The tanks were then assembled and installed on-site.
