Custom tank and operator platform for Dunafin Plc.
Dunafin Zrt, based in Dunaújváros, is a leading manufacturer of label paper materials. Founded in 1962, the paper mill has been operating under the international Delfort group since 2006.
The company, which produces release papers, places significant emphasis on strictly regulated technical processes. Aligned with the principles of sustainable development, their goal is to minimize environmental impact during production.
The task
We manufactured a unique tank and corresponding operator platform for Dunafin, which was assembled onsite.
Special challenge
The custom-designed steel tank exceeded 8 meters in height, necessitating crane operations and modifications to the building’s walls and roof during installation.
Our solution
We manufactured a bespoke steel structure tank with a capacity of 250 m3 and a diameter of 7 meters, complete with an operator platform to facilitate the work of technicians.
The tank was pre-fabricated at our facility, then the pre-assembled sections were lifted into the factory area using a crane. Assembly of the parts, as well as the welding and installation of the tank’s final elements, were completed onsite.
